Joey Xanders lives by that motto. She is the co‑creator, founding Executive, and Artistic Director of The Moth. She worked at Actual Films, a prominent documentary company, and later produced a feature‑length documentary that inspired the Carol Emmott Fellowship for Women Leaders in Healthcare. Joey has managed musical artists and secured a publishing contract with Warner Chappell. She also spent years in the tech industry as a Culture Manager, Producer of events and videos, and Chief of Staff. She writes and tells stories—and can’t be tied down. Maruf Noyoft is an award-winning filmmaker whose films have been official selections at the Lisbon Film Rendezvous Festival in Portugal, Varesh International Film Festival in Mazandaran, Iran and Universe Multicultural Film Festival Los Angeles. Maruf graduated with honors from the University of Art and Culture of Tajikistan and began working for a local production company in the capital city, Dushanbe, Tajikistan. There he cut his teeth shooting, filming, and editing stories about the rich culture and traditions of Tajikistan, with a focus on highlighting extraordinary moments in his work as a documentarian. read more…

Carlo Kamin is a Bay Area based documentary and corporate film editor with 15 years of technical and story editing experience. Carlo edited long and short format documentaries, which have screened at national and international film festivals as well on TV (PBS FRONTLINE, RTE). Margot Lynn Gedert is based in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado, where she has spent decades working with Native youth and families, supporting health and wellbeing, and focusing on the inclusion of Traditional Knowledge in education. She is an Intuitive Painter and Plant Medicine Facilitator who uses visual arts to integrate intuitive wisdom. She also serves as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Meditation Teacher, dedicated to supporting people in knowing and living from the depth of their True Nature. In the late 90s, after a lifetime of searching, she was blessed to have met her teacher, Gangaji. During the time spent with her, the searching stopped, and the Truth of who we are was revealed, the light that is who we are. A few years later, she was led to Chris Zydel, facilitating a workshop called Painting from the Wild Heart, and her creative heart fell wide open.
